    Cork Airport & Getting Around

    - Cork International Airport -

    Cork International Airport (ORK) is located 6km Southwest of Cork City in an area called Ballygarvan. It is Ireland's third busiest airport after Dublin and Shannon. Airlines such as BMI, Ryanair, Aer Lingus and Jet2.com all fly from Cork.

    • Buses-

    • Buses run approximately every 30 minutes and the journey time is 30 minutes. The fare should cost around €3.90 single or €6.50 return.

    • Trains-

    • There is a train service which runs between Cork’s Kent train station (involves bus connection).

    • Taxis-

    • Taxis can be found outside the airport terminal building and a journey to the centre of Cork should cost no more than €15.
