Imperial hotel
The hotel is located in the heart of Cork City, in the premier shopping and commercial district of the city.

Imperial hotel
One of Cork’s most exclusive hotels, the Imperial is housed in a building designed by architect Thomas Dean in 1813 as the city’s Commercial Rooms. With Waterford crystal chandeliers, marble floors, and brass fittings, the lobby and public area exude an aura of 19th-century grandeur. The 125 guestrooms are beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated in muted, relaxing colours, while the heavenly beds are adorned with crisp, fresh, white bed linen. All are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms, the latter enhanced by black and white tiles and timber-sided bathtubs. The hotel offers a variety of dining options. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Pembroke Restaurant offers fine dining in beautiful, spacious, elegant surroundings. Seasonal and innovative menus blend Irish and Mediterranean cuisine, prepared with the freshest local produce. The Food Hall is a sociable lunch venue and a perfect spot for informal, delicious dining. Here, stylish, modern cuisine, delivered with professional, efficient service, is just the right antidote for a morning's busy shopping in the city. And last but not least, Lafayette's Brasserie is perfect for enjoying morning coffee while browsing daily newspapers. Meanwhile, the hotel’s Escape Salon and Spa offers the perfect fusion of natural and holistic treatments in the most luxurious of settings.
