Isaacs hotel
The hotel is located on MacCurtain Street, very close to the River Lee and just a short walk from Cork city centre.

Isaacs hotel
The Isaacs Hotel is housed in a former tobacco mill with an ornate brick façade, which dates from 1850. The arched entrance leads to a courtyard dominated by an attractive water feature, surrounded by table and chairs. Look around here and you’ll also be able to spot metal pulleys that are a legacy of the building’s original incarnation. The compact lobby boasts a warm and friendly atmosphere, with exposed stonework, parquet floors, a cast iron gas fire and ample seating situated to one side. The hotel contains both guestrooms and apartments. The 36 standard guestrooms feature simple modern decor in red and cream, complemented by beech wood furnishings, including a desk. The 11 two- and three-bedroom apartments – situated in an adjoining wing – feature dishwashers, washing machines and dryers, which are ideal if you're travelling with a family or group. Greene’s Restaurant serves modern, innovative, international cuisine using local fresh produce and specialises in seafood dishes. All menus reflect the seasonal changes and weather permitting customers can dine al fresco in the courtyard, which is floodlit by night.

really nice and pleasant hotel. Staff very accomodating.
Top Tip
the two restaurants attached to the hotel are excellent. Isaacs restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is absolutely top class and worth it.

Wonderful hotel - in the centre of the city within walking distance of all you could wish to see (with the possible exeption of Cork Prison which was - for me - too far to walk and up a VERY big hill. Staff were nice & friendly, room spotlessly cleaned daily and breakfast adequately set us up for the day.
Top Tip
Cork is a lovely city and its people so laid back they are horizontal. It is not as 'touristy' as Dublin and much nicer for it. Do go to Cobh - it is stunningly beautiful and so easy to get to on the train (which cost 5.5 euro per person).
